They Deserve Better Dog Rescue is a non-profit group of foster homes linked together to rescue and foster dogs in need.  

Above: We got Princess Hope in from a kill-shelter (which they called her bones)  October 2,2009 weighing in at 17 lbs.  She stayed at the vets for a week. She is a diabetic and is permanently blind from it now. She is doing well as you can see below! She now weighs 38 lbs.  We love her dearly. Hope will live out her life with her foster mom.

Anyone can buy a dog or puppy from the local pet shop or from a "breeder" found in the newspaper. You get this dog with health guarantees and promises that it is perfect. Not always the truth. No dog can have health guarantees as no one can predict the future.

We'd like to say "Thank You" to all of you who are trying to find and get a rescue dog. It's not the easiest route but can be a most satisfying choice. These dogs tend to be the most loyal and devoted additions to their new families.
